“I started one of our conversations with, “I don’t know what the hell I’m doing.” And laura stopped, looked at me, and said, “I don’t believe you.” And I was like, “Okay.” But then she went on to say, “Here’s what you’ve said to me in the past, and here’s how you have been very clear that you do know what you’re doing.” And she was right. I was in a moment of fear and letting my fear lead, and when she helped me to remember the confident and the courageous part of me that did know what I was doing, it helped shift everything. So after that, every time I would have a moment of, “Oh…” I just remembered that laura didn’t believe me, and it was true. So I really appreciated laura’s ability to hear me and my strength, and then when I began to waiver, to just remind me that I do have all of that inside of me.”
